Pulse To Tone Music Return & Replacement Policy

At Pulse To Tone Music, we take pride in accurately representing every record we sell. Each listing includes detailed descriptions and clear photos so you know exactly what you’re getting. While we strive for perfection, we understand that issues can occasionally occur. Our return process is handled case by case, with one simple goal in mind — to make things right and ensure you’re completely satisfied with your purchase.

If you experience a problem with your order, please contact us at info [at] pulsetotonemusic [dot] com and include your order number along with any relevant details or photos. We’ll review your situation promptly and do our best to resolve it quickly.

Lost or Stolen Packages

Please note that Pulse To Tone Music is not responsible for packages lost or stolen after delivery. If your tracking number shows “Delivered” but you haven’t received your package, you’ll need to file a claim directly with the shipping carrier.

Eligible Return Situations

Returns or replacements may be approved for the following situations:

  • The incorrect record was sent by mistake.

  • The record arrived damaged or was lost in transit.

Non-Returnable Situations

Because of the nature of physical media and collector’s items, we cannot accept returns for the following reasons:

  • Dissatisfaction with sound quality or pressing variations.

  • Vinyl color differing slightly from product photos.

  • Label misprints or design variations.

  • Skipping, which is often caused by turntable setup rather than the record itself.

  • Minor cosmetic imperfections such as corner dings, small creases, seam splits, or torn shrink wrap.

We do not offer exchanges or refunds for minor packaging damage or cosmetic defects that do not affect playback.

If Your Record Skips

Skipping is one of the most common playback issues and is often caused by turntable calibration, tonearm balance, or a worn stylus rather than the vinyl itself. We recommend checking your turntable setup and tracking force first.  If you have a suitcase player or a lower end modern turntable, you most likely do not have the ability to make adjustments necessary for quality playback.

If the problem persists, reach out to info [at] pulsetotonemusic [dot] com with a photo or short video of the issue — we’ll gladly help troubleshoot.

Policy on Import & Unofficial Releases

Pulse To Tone Music does not accept returns or refunds for unofficial or European import releases, with two exceptions:

  1. The record arrived warped due to heat exposure in transit.

  2. The incorrect item was shipped.

Please keep in mind that minor flaws and inconsistencies are common in unofficial pressings sold worldwide. These records are imported as-is, and playback or cosmetic variations are outside of our control.

Policy on Lathe Cut Records

At Pulse To Tone Music, we proudly offer a selection of lathe-cut records - unique, handcrafted pressings made in small batches for collectors and artists who appreciate rare and one-of-a-kind releases. Due to the handmade nature and inherent characteristics of the lathe-cut process, these records may contain slight surface noise, visual imperfections, or playback variations from traditional pressed vinyl.

Because each lathe-cut record is individually cut in real time, no two copies are identical, and minor irregularities are completely normal. For this reason, all lathe-cut record sales are final, and we cannot accept returns, refunds, or exchanges for any reason other than receiving the incorrect title.

Please be aware that:

  • Surface noise, light hiss, or slight distortion are expected characteristics of lathe-cut records.

  • Some records may require adjustments to tracking force or anti-skate settings on your turntable for optimal playback.

  • Lathe-cut records are primarily intended as collectible art pieces and may not perform exactly like mass-produced pressed vinyl.

We carefully inspect and package every lathe-cut record before shipping to ensure it arrives in the best possible condition. By purchasing a lathe-cut release, you acknowledge and accept these unique qualities as part of the format’s charm and individuality.

If you receive the wrong item or your record arrives physically damaged in transit, please contact us at info [at] pulsetotonemusic [dot] com within 7 days of delivery, and we’ll make it right.
